 On September 5, 2007, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation (WPS) was awarded a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) contract.
The award of this contract resulted in the transfer of Mutual of Omaha’s Medicare Part A business to WPS on November 5, 2007.
